Maxi is the collective name for Valmet´s control and information system. It transforms the various elements of forestry into a single interacting production chain and makes communication between operators, clients and the industry quick, safe and simple.

Valmet Maxi gives you advanced machine control using modern electronic units and CANbus networks. It combines control and efficency with liberating user-friendliness. All important information is collected on the PC and presented clearly and distinctly on the screen. This gives you control and overview and helps you to make the right decision.

Information on the production, operation, downtime, stem profiles, etc. is stored on the hard disk and can then be used for follow-ups, planning and for client reports. The system helps you to communicate with the surrounding world via Internet, e-mail and different types of storage media.

Maxi Harvester
Maxi Harvester is a machine control system developed especially for harvesters. This can be used to enter the properties for cranes and heads and other functions easily via the PC in the cab. The system has support for computer calipers, allowing you to perform quick and flexible calibrations. It is available in two versions with different cross-cutting systems - Log or Value.

Maxi Forwarder
MaxiForwarder is the machine control system for forwarders. It controls and optimizes the machines various functions and also facilitates efficient operational and production follow-ups. By entering the cranes properties and other functions direct from the PC, you can quickly access and easily change settings if necessary.

MaxiHead
MaxiHead is a separate control system for Valmets harvester head units that can be installed on older harvesters or other base machines, such as excavators with harvester head units. MaxiHead is installed alongside the machines own control system.

MaxiManager is developed to allow you to manage Maxis subsystems, your own software and all data files, easily an in a flexible manner. This is a portal that makes it easy to switch rapidly between different programs.
